Chapter 3 Satisfaction

‘Ok, un,’ Deidara thought, making his way to Leader-sama’s room, ‘All I have to tell him is that we picked up a baby…’ Deidara rolled his eye. Yeah, like that was ever gonna work.

‘Then what the hell am I going to do, un?’ Deidara didn’t have much time to ponder this, since he was right outside the leader’s room door.

‘Ok, un,’ He told himself, ‘Keep calm and everything will be alright...’ He looked down at *‘his’ sleeping Ayeya-chan.

‘How could anyone say no to a face like that, un?’ Deidara thought, entering Leader-sama’s room.

‘Here goes nothing, un…’

“You mean you just found her there? In the forest!?” Deidara nodded. Not talking his eyes of Leader-sama’s partner, who was currently ‘coo’-ing the baby, who was giggling.

**‘Bitch better not drop Ayeya-chan, un…’ Deidara’s eyes narrowed. There would be one less Akatsuki member if that happened.

“It’s so cute, Partner!” Leader-sama’s partner squealed, holding the baby up to Akatsuki leader’s face.

“And smelly…” Leader-sama stated, his hand covering his nose, or at least what Deidara thought was his hand and his nose, it was hard to tell in the shadows. Leader-sama’s partner frowned as she smelt; she looked up at Deidara,

“When was the last time you changed it?” Deidara blinked.

“Changed?” He asked, blinking again.

Leader-sama’s partner’s frown got larger. She eventually sighed and said,

“Follow me.” And she led Deidara to a back room. Leader-sama smirked,

‘Having this baby around will prove an… interesting experience for the Akatsuki.’

Deidara had never been so happy and disgusted at the same time in his life. He was happy, because he found out that, in fact, Ayeya-chan was a female, disgusted, because of the way he found out.

‘I never knew that ‘dippers’ could hold so much, un....’ He looked to Leader-sama’s partner in amazement.

‘Where did she learn to change those smelly things, un?’

“Since you didn’t know when she was last changed,” Deidara was shook out of his thought by the female voice. “I’m going to assume that you didn’t feed her on the way back here.” Deidara sheepishly followed Leader-sama’s partner to the Akatsuki kitchen.

There Ayeya opened her eyes, and the leader’s partner gave a sad smiled.

‘So that’s why you were left in the forest…’ She thought sadly, attempting to feed the fussy Ayeya, who soon gave in and started eating. Deidara watched, fascinated.

‘So that’s how you do it, un…’

Ayeya soon was full and started to push her hand away.

“Deidara,” The leader’s partner said turning toward him, “Why don’t you go get cleaned up.” Deidara blinked. Then he sighed, he knew she was ordering him to leave.

“***Hai, hai, un…” He said, as he went toward His and Sasori’s room.

‘Come to think of it, un’ Deidara thought, making his way down the hall, ‘Sasori-danna did disappear rather fast when we got back, un…’

“What the fuck is that?” Hidan asked, looking from the leader’s partner, to Ayeay and back again.

“It’s a baby, Hidan.” Leader-sama’s partner answered as if she were talking to a five year old. Hidan glared,

“I guessed that much.” He knew better then to call the kunoichi(sp?) a bitch. She was the leader’s partner, after all.

“Why is it here?” He asked, an irritated tone in his voice.

“Deidara and Sasori found HER in the forest near here.” She answered, not bothering to look away from Ayeya.

Hidan looked surprised.

“But the ****Chi Mori is the only one around, and they only use… oh…” He said understanding. The Chi Mori was used the near by villages to ‘discard’ unwanted babies.

‘And some of the mothers…’ Hidan thought. He and Kakuzu had come across a few remains with the mothers holding their children. He shuddered at the memories.

‘Such a sick practice…’ He thought in disgust.  Then he saw the reason Ayeya was ‘discarded’, her eyes.

“It’s such a shame…” He heard the Leader’s Partner mumble to herself. He noticed an odd glint in her eyes.

‘Sadness…?’ He thought, ‘Did she…’ She looked up at him, and his answers were there. His eyes widened,

‘Holy Jashin-sama! She DID!’ He was about to say something when Kakuzu came in. His eyes widened,

“The Chi Mori, right?” He asked in a sad tone. Hidan and the kunoichi nodded. He sighed,

“Thought so.”

Hidan looked back to Leader-sama’s partner.

“When are you going to tell Deidara and Sasori?” Kakuzu looked on interest.

“Soon.” Was her answer.

Kakuzu sat down and sighed.

“This is going to cost…”
